Tucked tight into a cove on Lake Wallenpaupack with our pontoon boat and dropped anchor. Broke out the TFO fly/spin rod in spin mode. Cast all over with what usually guarantees a hit, a Berkley Atomic Tube under a Trout Magnet float, but no luck. Switched to drop shotting with a Zoom Tiny Fluke and first cast produced a nice largemouth bass. A couple casts later to almost the same spot and it was a smallmouth. Catching them almost back to back really showed the tenacity of the smallie. Must have taken at least twice as long to bring it in. Caught some others but the first two were the best. PS - Note the bluetooth earpiece? Without it, I'd have been stuck in the office all day awating an important call.

Nice ones that I'll bet were fun on that rod.

Nice, like those pictures of the LMB and SMB together, can really see the difference.

Good idea with the Bluetooth. It shows you have yore priorities in order. Those are some really nice looking fish, and I bet the smallie was a blast.

The smallie definitely put my inexpensive reel to the test and thus far it seems to be passing.

Thanks for sharing, awesome fish, haven't had anything that big on my TFO, bent into the cork?
