Last sunny day before the rain comes in late tomorrow. Last forecast is calling for rain 9 out of next 10 days .
I haven’t been in awhile , so I grabbed a little custom 5’4” UL rod with a Shimano Symetre 500 and 4# Silverthread . I already had a trout magnet tied on from last trip . On about my fifth cast , I thought I’d hung up , then it started moving .
Not a monster , but I’ll take anything this time of year .
Fished for about an hour , caught a nice bluegill to go with the bass .
I’m so glad our town finally made our town pond a catch and release only pond . Gillchaser

As I sit here by the woodstove listening to the snowmobiles roar up and down my local stream, your report and photo have warmed my heart. thanks.

Nice catch. That moment when you realize it’s not a snag is priceless.
