Took my Nissin Fine Touch 270 out for the first time last week. Wife was nice enough to let me fish for an hour on Mother's Day and went back on Tues with a friend.
Nothing doing on flies so I switched to the Mummy Worms TenkaraBum sells. Orange was a hot color but brown never drew a hit. Used a small 1/8 brass bead head as a weight instead of splitshot.
What a blast on 9-13" stocker 'bows. Constant action both days and they put up quite a fight on the little rod.

Around the Albuquerque area in NM. Fish the Pecos and Jemez.
I used to be up by you in SE Wisconsin. Moved down here in 2009.

In my "other life" I used to fish the Jemez. Liked to camp out. Sleeping under the stars.Used to stop by the skinny dipping spot!
