It's been awhile since I visited last. I hope this doesn't result in a double post as it appears the post I attempted last night didn't work.
I have but one UL rod and it's solidly in the UL range as it's a TXL double ought. There was a time where I insisted my small steam fly rod arsenal needed at least a dozen rods, minimum. So far, my limited UL fishing opportunities have been covered confidently with this rod.
Anyway, I hope to frequent this forum. I'll try to post photos but I might need help on how to get the photos from my phone to the forum.

Welcome back. That TXL is a nice rod. I have two of them. One is a factory rod. The other was built from a blank. The factory rod weighs 2.5 oz. The custom rod weighs 1.8 oz. I've caught 20" trout and salmon with them. Other than bending a lot, they were just fine for those fish.

It's good to see that you're back. Congratulations for getting down to only one UL rod. That would probably cause severe withdrawal symptoms for me. By the way, how's that book of yours coming along?

Thx for the replies. As far as the book is concerned, I'm fortunate to be so busy with work, it's hard to find time to fish, let alone write.
