Just confirmed, big fish can be landed on ultra light fly rods. Nice video.

I was watching a big group of large carp, most averaging around 24-25" in length, milling around in a pool of my favorite stream one day. At the time, I had along my Axisco Airrite Stream 7'6" 6 piece 3 weight Japanese glass rod, a very slow action, soft glass rod. I was sorely tempted to toss a fly, but allowed discretion to be the better part of valor. I have 2 or 3 other 3 weights that I would have felt much more confident in using for such a task. But along, the lines of the video in question, I remember watching one a few years back where a guy was fishing from a float tube down in Belize and catching tarpon. Whenever he had one on, it took him for a Nantucket sleigh ride. He looked like he was having a ball.

I am impressed. I really didn't think he was going to bring it in, but he did. Great video.
