I find myself involved in a trip to the Hancock, MA area next week, and wondered if anyone is aware of any fairly reliable waters in that area? I'm just looking to escape from my companions for a while and don't really care if its bass/trout/whatever. I'll be wading. (PM if you don't want to share your suggestion; this is a 'one-off' trip so I won't be setting up housekeeping on your spots). thx brent

you will be surrounded by good water- mass fish and game publishes great info streams are extremely high due to a lot of rain lately the farmington river in nw ct is about 40 minutes away. tailwater river - heavily stocked housatonic river - best stretch is the tma in ct.- maybe 40 minutes away down rte 7 south. web sites housatonic angler housatonic outfitters upcountry sports- farmington river- berkshire outfitters
