Yesterday was the memorial service for Eric's wife and he will be going through a very painful grieving process for some time to come. So please keep him in your prayers and ask God to put His hand on Eric's heart and give him peace and whatever comfort is possible right now. Thanks guys.

I too am very sorry to hear of your loss, and all I can say is that in time, it gets better, but it's different for everyone. 51 years isn't enough time with the one you truly love. Remember this, you are surrounded by people who love you, so grab onto that with everything you have. And you have many friends here as well who will always listen if you need to talk. I too have lost someone special from that terrible disease. You're not alone, and we are all here to comfort you the best we can.

Thank you Iasgair, yes I know I am truly blessed to not only have this family but church and my children. Thank you for your encouragement yes for 51 years a companion around you all the time then none takes something to get used to. I guess I better go fishing or tie some flies or study my bible. Much appreciated.

Or an audio bible that you can listen to while you tie?
