Sometime ago I said I had to curtail my fishing in respect of my wife having been diagnosed with cancer, she survived 3 years without chemo but being treated with natural protocols unfortunately she lost the battle this morning. The main problem for this was a liver destroyed by doctor administered chemicals which were not flushed or instructed to be flushed. This caused severe abdominal pain over a 11 month period resulting in a near starvation situation which allowed the cancer to run rampant. She passed on to her heavenly home early this morning. She has given me permission to resume fishing.
After 51 years of being happily married with four children and four grand children. She will be severely missed.

Eric, so sorry. You remain in my prayers. 51 years together is a wonderful accomplishment but is any number enough when it comes to your beloved? Peace be with you.

Eric, I have been where you are! I also lost my wife of 23 years, also to a
Painful, aggressive cancer! We were only married 23 years, she was only
42, but my pain was still there! If I can help, I would be happy to. I used Fly Tying
To get me through. My prayers are with you, for your strength, encouragement and
Peace! My heart is broken for you, I do know what you have been through and still
Have to face in the future!

Thank you all for your prayers and kind comments.
Charlie47 thank you for your support.Yes it is very hard to deal with, I have liked fly trying for many years and fly fishing as often as possible which would be the ideal therapy but I have to work. So I say given permission from my wife released me to go when convenient. I loved my wife and would stay to please her however she understood my needs and would chase me off telling me to go fishing. Thanks again guys.

Eric,
My sincere condolences for your tremendous loss. I was there. My wife was misdiagnosed in 2013 and passed with pancreatic cancer on June 27, 2014. The pain will ease with time, but it will never go away. May God grant you comfort.
Jim

Eric, Sorry to hear of your loss; it's been a long hard struggle for you, your wife and family. I recall your mentioning at some point
during this ordeal how your wife was continuing to work despite the difficulty and I could sense the well deserved pride
you felt towards your wife. My prayers are with you, your family and wife in the after life.

Thank you JimRed. Jim in my difficult time your very early morning fishing helped me tremendously because I could be with my wife after fishing without disturbing her.

Thanks for the compliment, however you and Cliff always seem to be a whole lot of fish ahead of me. Still enjoy it though.
