Or rather what's the significance of your handle? I've seen some interesting ones: Cross creek one comes to mind or bassackwards. So I'll start: The Kee Branch of Rush Creek is where I spend hours flicking flies about trying to entice various sunfish species to bite- hence keebranch. What's yours? Les

I like people to know who they are interacting with so I just use my first name. That way if I piss off anyone, they will know who to look for on the river

Mine's not so mysterious--My family home for a very, very long time was in a township of North Carolina (now absorbed by the city) called Cross Creek after the two streams that cross downtown between the courthouse, the post office, and the library (supposedly without mixing their waters, if you buy into the legend). I fished those city creeks as a kid and have made rods under that name for a long time, using it as my web name all over except for Yuku sites, because some scoundrel in one of those useless forums on needlepoint or somesuch had already picked it when I first came to Clark's bamboo forum years ago. I added the "one" just to be ornery and continue to sign off as CC. -the real McCC

I'm a Major in the US Army and I like to fly fish. Simple as that!

Mine is just my first initial, last name, and the number 7. That's the beginning of my email address as supplied by my internet provider.

I have always delighted in catching bluegills. I picked a name at FAOL that is Ladyflyfisher, I then learned that who Ladyfisher is. I didn't want to confuse people so I started Bluegillfisher. I am Marion at Warm Waters. Marion is my first name. I never was good at picking handles, so I'll probably just keep Marion and Bluegillfisher.

J.W. are my first two initials and jdub is the short version. It's a nickname that all my mtn-biking buddies in Austin knew me by.

I have mostly referred to fly fishing as casting a line rather than baits or weighted lures hence I chose Linecaster

I happened to be watching the movie "3:10 to Yuma" (the 2007 remake), when I registered for the fiberglassrodders forum.

Great movie! I was wondering if that was the reason. I'm a fairly simple person so mine is just my first initial and last name. It's easy for me to remember.

I bought a fiberglass "pee-row" from Bill Norman, which is what he called his fiberglass reproduction; so; being also from the sticks of south Arkansaw, I conjured up the name Pea, which indicates my brain size, and "row" which indicates a place to plant peas, hence "pearow"........

I am what I am. A Troutbum!! That is my code on most forums, and will be here, too, as soon as i change it. My father n-law, told me two great remarks. One, if you want to catch fish, kepp your fly in the water!! The other one is, "What you do is your philosophy, and what you don't do, can't be your philosophy!!"

I have a huge man crush on Keith Urban & really like geometry... Fun with X-treme angles. O and I'm a wise A S S...
Too many city fishing episodes for me. Chris Iaconelli is my hero. I still can not believe the places I find fish. I prefer to find fish where I am as opposed to go to the places they are "known" to swim. Traveling 20min. to Jerrys pond is too far for me. So its Urban Angling for me. Its an all new angle for me. And I'm enjoying every min. of it. It would not be any fun at all without the UL gear tho.

I always just use my first name. But since this is the ultra light forum I figured 00wt would be good, as it's my lightest rod......so far Justin
