Hey... going to purchase line for my new CGR 2 weight and would like to enquire on what others are using on this rod and how it performs for you? I'm planning on or thinking seriously on a double taper line because it will be used in small warm water creek fishing!
Thanks and waiting on those great suggestions!

Linecaster,
Thanks...it looks like no work tomorrow because of weather and son has off from school because of in-service day! So, I think we'll make a trip to Cabela's and do some fly fishing gear shopping!
Thanks Again!

I am using Cabela's 2wt DT that, I think, was discontinued last year and I am real happy with it. Lately I've been experimenting with a 108 grain line, likely modified from some other wieght....maybe a running line...can't recall.... on my CGR 2 wt and it works when I need to overcome wind, over size the fly or cut down on false casting. But the 2wt line is definitely preferred and gives a terrific 2 wt experience when compared to over-lining.

Jim,
Thanks, If I am right (Hoping) I believe I saw some Cabela's 2 weight DT on the wall rack when I picked up 3 weight line a little under a month ago. So hopefully it is old stock and still there... we'll see tomorrow!
Thanks Again!
