I seen them last night marked at $25 so bought a 2wt reel, figured it wasnt going to be an outstanding reel but for that price it would be ok for my Eagle Claw, my creek outfit.
Just curious if anyone had/has one and what your thoughts are.
Thanks in advance.

Good bargain. A bit undersized tho. I used the 5-6 on a 4 wt. With a Cortland Precision wf 4 line I got about 50 yd of backing on. The 3-4 would be good on a 2 weight. Listed actual weights are/were way wrong they are much lighter. They usee the weights from the wind river reels for thr cgrs in error. I like em. Price is hard to beat too.

I have a WF4 on mine, with not very much backing. The preset click drag is slightly lighter than I would prefer, but it has a palming spool, so that is alright. Seems to be a solidly built reel. I haven't used it very much, but probably because I am using a 2 or 3 weight rod about 90% of the time.

I just weighed an empty CGR 5/6 and it came out to teetering between 4.0 and 4.1 oz. Just FYI.

Just picked up 4 for under $40 from the in-store order pick up. I put an EMPTY reel on my 2 wt CGR and it balanced and the rings fit on this rod, not sure how it would feel with line; I plan on using the CGR reels for my 4-5-6 weight rods (at least that's the plan right now).
