What would be a fair price on a very nice Ross Colorado 0 weight without original paper work, box or case?
Thank you,
PAGH

Read the bible and all your questions will be answered.

And the Bible say's, pay the price for what the seller is asking.

But.....if you two want to go a different route, I'd say, in reality, I don't need the box or paper work, but the case would be nice to have with the reel. So if it's just the reel alone, I'd pay probably $230. If it's as nice as you say, it's worth it. I'm sold on Ross, and 95% of my reels are Ross. The Colorado is a fine reel to have. They are basically the same reel as Abel reels. They have the exact same drag system, and made from the same material. The only difference is the machining design, and that fancy expensive baked in paint job that costs you $700 or more.

So since the 0-3wt reel is $285 new, with the box and case and paperwork and a sticker, $230 I think is a fair honest price.

But I'd still go with the biblical way.

Old Colorado or the newer one?
The older one is worth more money in my opinion.

Go to eBay and peruse close and sold actions. That will give you a general market value of sight unseen reels. If you have one to inspect and condition is good you might wish to pay more
