But.....if you two want to go a different route, I'd say, in reality, I don't need the box or paper work, but the case would be nice to have with the reel. So if it's just the reel alone, I'd pay probably $230. If it's as nice as you say, it's worth it. I'm sold on Ross, and 95% of my reels are Ross. The Colorado is a fine reel to have. They are basically the same reel as Abel reels. They have the exact same drag system, and made from the same material. The only difference is the machining design, and that fancy expensive baked in paint job that costs you $700 or more.
So since the 0-3wt reel is $285 new, with the box and case and paperwork and a sticker, $230 I think is a fair honest price.
But I'd still go with the biblical way.
