There's several products available to clean and keep your fly line above water. Haven't had much luck with them. What's your formula and or the best product that you use? I always find the last 18" of my line sinking!

To prevent your last 18 inches sinking which may be because water is leaching into the tip I would apply a little UV Knot to the exposed end.
Sometimes your line needs to be washed in a light soapy water then pull the line thru a drying cloth, after which do the same by pulling the line thru a line treatment patch.

You can also dress the line with fly floatant.

Linecaster has a good point. If you wash your line and put some kind of a dressing on it, take it out and fish with it. If the end starts to sink again, it's soaking in water that could be due to a slight tear or even a small puncture from possibly a hook.
I have had this happen, and it gets frustrating. So do what linecaster had suggested if the line end sinks.
