I use an Okuma Magnitude 4/5 on my both my2 and 4 weight TFO Finesse rods.
Spent the day catching 16 to 20 inch Rainbows here in Texas on the Guadalupe!
The disc drag system is smooth with fine adjustabilty. The magnesium reel reel weighs 3.7 ounces and only costs $60.00!

I wish Okuma would come out with a smaller Magnitude reel for like 2/3 weight lines, and weigh in about 2.75oz. If they made that I'd be all over it in a heartbeat, you can't beat the price on the Magnitude.

The little Okuma 23 is pretty light, have you tried one of those? Ive a 7ft 9in 3wt it balances well with and they sell pretty cheap on Evilbay.

Richard, the only 2/3wt reel I see on the Okuma website is the SLV and it weighs 4.5 oz. That's just way too heavy for an UL reel. I need something that will balance out my Pac Bay 6'6" 2wt.

The SLV is great for a LONG 2 or 3wt.

Yea its good on a long 3wt but won't work on the shorter lighter rods. Unless your making your own rods and you wrap a little bit of lead tape forward under your grip (also make your cork grip a little longer two, say a 7 inch cigar, that puts that little bit of lead tape further out so you have to use even less.) before you glues things up. Half an ounce there will balance alot heavier rod and leave you with alot more options if your into rod building.
