Elisa, the Bass Pro reel is a good match, as would any reel just under 3oz. I tested the Carbon with a H&H WF2 and thought it was a perfect match. I like the WF lines in 2wt better than DT since they shoot a bit better, and a WF can help in turning over slightly larger and heavier flies.

I was using the 3/4 Prism reel and didn't like the way it fit under the cork. Long story short...I sent it back to Echo to have them check it out. They took the time to email AND personally call me to make sure I knew what was going on. I like that from a company, small or large. Just got the rod back today. Super folks to deal with.
I want to get a dedicated reel for this rod now I am going to keep it and use it often. I am keeping the Prism for my TFO 4wt. I decided to go with the Orvis BBSI. Looks like a decent fit for the rod being close to 3oz and the drag  is a plus, I really did not want a click and pawl setup. Found a good deal online for $89 and pulled the trigger on it. Soooo now I am once again like the 10 year old with my nose pressed to the livingroom window waiting for the Big Brown Truck!

Last summer I used Cortland Sylk DT 2 wt on my Echo. I love that line.

Location: Lorain, Ohio but can be found in fishing waters of West by God West Virginia and southern Ohio.
It casts well with a Sage WF Quiet taper line.

I've used the Sage Quiet double taper in DT1F and really like how it handles. I'd imagine the DT2F would be fairly similar.

I can't comment on a DT line but after a year I am very happy with the Rio WF 2wt.
