Gene....
I've decided to build the Dorber instead of the Dan Craft.....I'm a chronic overliner.....heck I've overlined every rod I own (inclduing some glass rods) except my Lami 4wt to get them to slooooow down - so I trhink the Dorber ultraweave might be right up my alley.
Are you going to order one?
I don't think there's a discount when ordering 2 is there...or any real savings on shipping???

I just ordered the 7'6"- 2 weight ultraweave blank. Jeff told me they were about 4 weeks behind in production and did not have one in stock. So, it looks like it will be february or later before i can get a blank. i tried to get them to give me a break on the price considering how much advertising i have done for them but was unable to get them to budge a penny. HA!(It don't hurt to try; theyre not gonna raise the price for you trying/crying)-p-

forgot to mention; I talked to them about overlining the blank; their reply was the 2 weight blank could not be overlined; its just too limber; whereas the 3 weight could be overlined with a dt-4 for moderate casting distances. Finally the 7'6" 2 weight costs $91.50 or thereabouts-p-

Pearow....You won't be disappointed in the 2wt ultraweave from Dorber. My fishing buddy has one and it is ultra full flex. He simply loves this little rod. He uses it to trout fish with ultralight tippet. An 8" trout really feels like a 16 incher.

Gene....I haven't seen or tested the Dorber ultraweave 3wt. But that 2wt is a honey.

Hmm...that blank isn't too pricey is it? That might make a wonderful little rod for gills on the beds.
