J. at the same show they were asking $135 for a SPOOL for a Made in England Flyweight, You have not heard the best. For a reel case with the Hardy logo, I mean in beat condition, they asked $75 for it. unbelievable HUH? Paul

Good for you for holding on to your reels Paul! They will not decrease in value,I hope this does not come off as rude, but most of those that I have encountered that "can't afford them"usually find "a good deal
" with another reel half the price and maybe half the resale value once they grow tired of it.Is it can't afford to have one or can't afford not to have one? I have no affiliation with Hardys .....but I know a good deal when I see one. Steve

I just have a hard time when I can buy a reel that weighs less, holds more, and costs less...J. Austin Forbes Avons in 2.5/3.0 sizes from Kevin on the east coast.

Steve, I have owned those two Hardy reels ILL bet 25 years, but the one I really would like to have is owned by my brother and he wont part with it. It is a Hardy Multiplier, I believe it the Marquis model. We saw it priced at $695 on an vintage rod site. I keep offering him various stuff in a trade but I have not gotten it as yet. Paul
