Anyone use this reel before? Not sure on the weight of it but it looks nice and the price seems right. Might be a tad heavy for my 2wt..but maybe not.

It is a click drag reel that weighs right above 3oz. It might work if it is a 6'6 w/ screw seat, or a 7'+ 2wt. I know a few guys on another board love that reel, and they are tough to track down on ebay anymore.

I bought mine for $30 bucks; they are pushing $50 bucks now if you can find one; I love them and they balance a lite rod pretty good. I use mine on a 7'6" orvis superfine 3 weight-p-

Gene cheats though ;) I have heard about him...he uses one of them there 3wts, to catch some coppernose bluegill, which I think he genetically engineers to be big, strapping, dinner plate size fish... ;)

Just kidding GB, hope things are going well down in Texas!

I had that reel for a few years and it's a real nicely made reel. Machined, nice click drag, lightweight and relatively cheap. Wasn't crazy about the bright gold finish but overall it was a really nice reel.

exceptionally well-made click-pawl reel - kind of a thick foot, and not the lightest of reels, but they work very well and I expect them to be one of the most collectible reels from our day.
