Lately I've had some time off to recover from knee surgery. I bought a cheap vice and some materials. These are the products of my boredom minus a few I lost trying them out.Image

Nice flies, glad you were at least able to try some of them out.

Thanks. I went to a local park that has pretty close acces from the parking lot to the stream. I must say that I'm sure I got some looks wading with a crutch but oh well. I Used the crutch to wade into position then hooked it to my waist and casted. I just repeated this step as I moved along. It's kind of like having a wading staff lol.

Good for you, well done, most would say no to the wading part, where there is a will there is a way.

Thank you. It's been a while so I'm a little rusty.

The determination is pretty deeply rooted in me. I broke my femur in high school playing foot ball and found that a crutch made a pretty good shooting stick. I missed archery and rifle but was able to catch late muzzle loading season. I actually shot my best buck that year. I even managed to return my senior year to football.
