Just tied this batch of clousers and knock off Woolley buggers for some crappie and white bass this weekend. It's a weekend of camping, fishing and shooting some wild pigs with my bow. Should be fun!!Image

I'm excited about the white bass run here in a few more weeks. Any tips you can offer? The clousers work best?

I do best on natural colors and blue and white. Strip them slow on the bottom. If the water is stained darker colors if it's clear lighter colors.

Also whites like to tail nip so I tie on a longer hook like an Aberdeen.

Sinking line, to keep your fly in the zone (on the bottom) longer! I prefer a Teeny BS-100.
