Nice ties! Are the eyes bead-chain? I enjoy seeing the flies and materials that are used in fisheries distant from my own. Imagine a #6 being a micro-fly!

Yes the eyes are bead chain. I add a little piece of lead wire over the shank to make sure they stay hook up underwater.
What sizes do you normally use? What fish do you target?

Tastey looking flies..... I would fish any of those with confidence. Nice job.

Roblepl: Sorry for the slow response. I fish for atlantic salmon with #4 to 10 flies (and occasionally #2), smallmouth bass and chain pickerel with similar sizes, and trout, perch, sunnies, fallfish, etc. with #6 to #24. I guess micro, to me, means anything below #18. If I had to guess at what is the average size of fly tied on my line over a year, I'd say it would be #10. But that's only in the context of my experience. I think its fascinating that, because of what you target and where, those little crabs are 'micro'. And of course, their weight lets you use a lighter rod, which only adds to the fun and challenge, I'm sure. And again, nice tying job. brent

If I was a fish, I would have already gobbled those down.
