Will do, and I'll get your set donated to Reel Recovery if that's OK. I'm involved in Reel Recovery and we're always looking for fly donations for use at the retreats.

Les,
Hello I would more than happy to donate my set of flies to Reel Recovery also. I have so many flies I will never fish with them all. I assume you got my Twin Lake Specials.

Hi Lanny,
Yes I received yours as well. Reel Recovery can use these.

Thanks

I'm still quite keen to receive my flies from the swap, but you guys have raised an interesting idea here. If it makes practical sense, I'm guessing there are plenty of folks here (myself included) who would gladly donate a dozen or so flies, and cover the shipping costs as well, for a cause as noble as the one you are supporting, or any other of its nature, as well.
Whaddya think?

well, I'm open to doing whatever y'all want. Of course there's one set of flies being held in reserve for the benefit of this site, but for those wishing to donate to the site or Reel Recovery- I find it to be a noble idea.

I'd like to have the swap flies. I can tie flies for Reel Recovery, if you need them.

All flies are separated and toe tags added to a few. I'll be sending the flies out tomorrow assuming weather holds. I'll be holding back a set for the site and few others for Reel Recovery.

I have sent out the flies today and held back two sets for Reel Recovery from the generous folks who wanted to help out.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Reel Recovery, it is an organization that takes male cancer survivors on a fly fishing retreat at no costs. We hold retreats throughout the year in several states. The web address is http://www.reelrecovery.org where you can sign up to be a volunteer "fishing buddy" for the weekend (we pair participants with fly fishers). If you, or someone you know, is a cancer survivor, there is an online application to use for the retreat date and state you wish to be considered.

When you go to the site, look up the two Texas retreats in April and you'll see one in Glen Rose, Texas on April 11-13, 2014. This is the one I am charged with coordinating. I have been involved since 2008 when Warren Wolf who brought the first retreat to Texas contacted me about being a fishing buddy to help guide cancer survivors. Since that first North Texas retreat. I have determined that I will do all I can to help further the cause of this organization. These retreats can be life changing for all involved.

Regards
Les Jackson
Retreat Coordinator

Les,
What is the target fish? I don't have any of my tying stuff with me until about mid feb. But if you let me know, I'll tie something up and just mail them to you from Colorado.
