Here is my all time killer for Nymphing for trout in rivers and slaying Pan-fish in stillwater... I use my 3wt when casting it...sinks very slowly, tie it up size #12-16 and dub it up with course kip tail which makes it extremely buggy appearance, the buggier the better, make it with different types of tails... I guess it resembles a dragon fly nymph, stone fly or clinger nymph... I use 4 basic colors dark gray, brown, olive and black ...On Cape Cod, I troll on the numerous Kettle ponds with a float tube and extra long leader .... fish just can't stand it and have to inhale it

Easy now....... lets don't let this pattern make it off of this site. I fish this fly ALOT....... bream, catfish, crappie and big bass up to 2 lbs on a black boudreaux size 12-14. I use green tinsel to wrap over the exposed thread and wrap it over the beadchain...... hundreds of fish have made it to the supper table because of this fly. Our little secret.Lol

After seeing your flies. I tied up a couple of flies close to yours and headed to an urban lake close to my house. After fishing for about 20 min. I caught 1 bass. Thanks for posting that fly.
