I learned today that if you reload a tippet spool with a different line, you should mark it in a way that is easily seen.

This is a great example of how not to mark a spool.

I also learned that a leader consisting of 5' of 15lb, 2.5' of 12lb, and 1.5' of 20lb tippet will still turn over, and will still trick a fish or two or three.

Nice looking fish. Odd dimensions on the leader, guess that was a result of the labelling warning.
