Well change of pace this morning. Decided to hit up a little native trout stream. 22 miles from the house, so it is my farthest trip so far. But I can guarantee there will be farther trips. Pictures will speak for themselves. Everything was on a parachute Adams dry fly.

I don't think we are in Texas anymore, Toto. :lol

Beautiful stream and fish. Looks a little different from the Hill Country.

Ah! that creek is beautiful. Looks like you hit pay dirt. What rod are you using for those small streams?

Jim, I'm using my TFO Finesse 7'3" 2wt for now. A 1 or 0wt will be my next purchase.

Mike, I threw Randy's (Preast) Finesse 1 wt. today and it was a dream. I had just broken out my new Echo Carbon XL 2 wt (which I love) and caught three fish on three casts (on your briminator), and he handed me the Finesse. Dangit.

Aaron, you know I love my TFO rods, but I am seriously thinking of making the switch to Orvis, just do to place of employment. Right now I have a 4wt Mangrove and a 2wt Finesse. Even with my discounts it's hard to get away from the sticker shock. Looking at a superfine Carbon 1wt, and a H2 or Recon 3wt. I need to sell both my TFOs to get one, lol
