I hadn't planned on fishing, but, after a long night at work, I had to get out. It may come as a surprise, but, sometimes the life of a working man isn't as glamorous as it seems. Yeah, it's fancy beer with foreign names like Pabst, and cable packages with three times as many channels than we actually watch, and so forth, but, we do from time to time suffer. But, I didn't come here to wine...

Anyways, it was a beautiful day. I pull up to my spot on the canal to find it packed with turkeys and vultures.

Bluegill took the lead with 5 total, spotted a close second with four

A couple crappie

There was this spot where I wet waded. Anxiously, of course, as there are many gators in the area. No fish, but the shade combined with the cooler water was very pleasant

I didn't fish here.

Like the introduction. You can't pay for humour like that. Nice pictures too.

Wet wading and gators. Am I the only one who thinks those two things should't be in the same sentence? :)

You can, if you'd like. Christmas is around the corner, and I've had a few moments where I was good...
