Peregrinations to and from the tugboat over the past 10 days ... stopping along the way to see what I can find. Haven't found anything the C. Barclay Synthesis 2/3 wt. prototype won't handle, and it is so dang much fun to fish!

Are you sure it's legal to have that much fun on your way to and from work? :applause :applause

Ha! Three-and-a-half-hour commute, Larry. Thankfully only once a week. Gotta amuse myself somehow! (Plus, you know, exploring new water!)

Long drives make me sleepy, so I see now that you are just making sure you stay awake. That is good sound thinking (or rationalization). Almost none of my commutes while I was still working led me near any good fishing. Heck, it looks like even on your way to and from work you are getting in more fishing than I am. Need to convince my wife that we should move 300 miles south. Guess I should be glad I don't live any further north than I do. (I really don't like winter).

This week's safety moment... Stop whatever you're doing and fish!

You’ve got some nice creeks to fish in Texas.

softhackle,
You just need to take a week of vacation and come down to join us in May for the UL/Glass gathering.

Looks like a great day out. It’s cold and flooded up here. I’m waiting for some warm weather to start fishing
