Greetings: I haven't posted in a while but thought I'd share my recent fishing trip. Here in VA we just had a couple of incredible late February days. Went up to fish the Rapidan in SNP. Even though insects were flying all over the river, my best fish were caught with Copper John nymphs, both size 14 and 16.

Nice looking river and trout. That pool looks like it would be very productive.

I haven’t fished the Rapidan in 20 years but, I still recognize that spot. And yes it is a great pool.
