The water finally warmed up in New England. rain and overcast skies led to a great top water bite this morning. Yellow was the color as the bass, crappie and gills were all over a #8 yellow popper. Despite a lot of structure- pads, etc. the 3 weight was up to the task. Was able to keep the fish out of the bad stuff for the most part.
sorry no pics, fishing from a float tube and didnt want to send the camera for a swim.

Sounds like a good trip. I know what you mean about the camera. Having flipped a kayak I know an unexpected swim is always possible. Cameras & phones are not good things to take swimming. LOL
