Got these on the 1wt.

Was able to hook set a big one but unhooked itself going through some submerged branches.

Water was very dirty from recent rains, very difficult for them to see even shiny patterns. ImageImageImage

I wouldn't have thought a little canal like that held tarpon, but then I don't know much about tarpon, other than that they can get big.

That canal water looks the color of coffee.

Glad to see the little 1 wt continuing to impress!

Nice. Stained (muddy) water may be harder to fish but they still gotta eat. Good job on fooling em with a fly in that chocolate milk.
