Location: Southwest Florida
Christmas Eve/ Christmas 1:15 a.m. trip with my brother, whom I never get a chance to fish with. Never caught a fish from a pier with a fly before. Beautiful night!

All is quiet on New Year's day. A bird was wading but it flew away

Now THAT's the way to end and begin a year! Not huddled near the wood stove, poring over tying material catalogs and looking out at the frozen white wasteland.
