Just finished up another tip for my 8 ft 2pc that makes it a 9.5ft both 1wt next week i am going to make a butt for the new tip to make an 11ft it will be a complete extra rod but the tips from both rods will match hack and forth

How much do these solid carbon rods weigh? What type of action will an 11' 1 wt. have?

I did some wt comparison my tfo 6 ft 2wt is 2.45 oz the solid carbon 6ft 2wt is 1.55 oz

I'd be interested in a solid carbon blank.

Been following this thread since April. Does anyone have a report on one of these rods? One thing that got me interested is that over the summer I resurrected a solid glass spinning rod that I bought over 50 years ago. The thing is tough as nails and casts very well. I now wonder what a fly rod would be like.

I'm making some experiments too with solid carbon and the results are very interestings. But I can find only tips, max 90cm. Please somebody knows how contact waterman87520? Or where find solid carbon blanks? Thanks in advance Roberto

Thanks in advance Roberto I build all of my blanks here in my shop setting up to do so is not cheap and developing tapers take some time I also sell solid glass blanks as far as I know I am the only one making solid carbon rods and blanks other than short ice rods and build them up to 16 ft and can do 8ft 1pc rods you can reach me at 575-209-0936
