Since I got rid of my Redington CT 2wt a few weeks ago I decided to go back to an RDP 2wt instead of TFO or Echo. Here are a few shops of the build.

What comes in the kit: I wanted all black hardware.

Grip and reel seat assembled and epoxied to the blank

Guides in place with masking tape.

I have some green and black tiger thread from mud hole from a old build when I was down in Honduras. Since I was going for a stealth Rod no bright colors on this one. Wraps complete.

Fishing reports to follow. Hopefully this afternoon I will get out with it and try it out.

Didn't have the chance to get out on the water like I wanted to. Vehicle maintenance issues took priority.

If it isn't the car, it's the lawn, or it's the job, or... it rains.

I feel your pain!

Nice work!

Experienced the same problem this weekend, maybe next weekend will be ok.

Planning on it. Going to hit up a state park somewhere, so the wife can fly fish for free since she never got her Texas license. Either Colorado Bend state park or South Llano river state park(never been). Any recommendations?

Colorado Bend is closer to you, but would be more of a stretch for a 2 wt than South Llano. Both can be windy right now.
