I just marked my new build with a white gel pen. Looks pretty good. What is everyone's preferred method to coat over an inscription? Should I just do a coat or two of TM Lite like i did for the guides? Could i just do a lite coat of Sally Hansen's clear?

Either should work fine. Only thing is do a test run. I used a sharpie extra fine paint marker not sure if it was dry completely or not, but when I applied the flex oat lite on one of my old rods it broke down the paint a bit. Have done several rods since then with no issues once I made sure it was completely dry. Never tried a gel pen before.

If you are worried that it will bleed, mask off the area and spray a lite coat of urethane sealer over it, let it dry completely and then add you finish over it.

I took Ron's suggestion and shot one coat of matte poly from a can over the lettering. Aftr that one coat of TM Lite and it looks great.
