 Post subject: Guide foot shape

Been looking at guide prep threads and videos for a couple of days. I'm looking to see if there is a conscensus, if that's even possible. When prepping feet, does it matter if the foot is either rounded or pointed at the end? I've seen both on the rods you all have posted.I imagine that a point might have a greater possibility of digging into the blank if there is a severe flex IF one gets the flash of a lifetime. Or is it all appearance once the guide foot is peeped we'll both top and bottom?
What say you?

I always went with rounded. Many builders are turning to Snake Brand Universal guides that need no prep. You can check them out here:

I've no preference, but just want them to be the same between the tip and the stripper.
