Hello there. It's a while ago but here is my new build light weight glass rod. It's a 8ft CTS Quartz #2 in Golden Honey. I have put some specifications below.

Seat: Lemke LC16 fly cap and ring rod, Nickel silver with Maple mortised wood insert
Grip: 8 inch grip designed and turned for my own hands
YLI silk 227 (Light Cinamon (Copper)
Seymo Hard Chrome English Pattern Snake Guides Sizes 2 and 3
Seymo 731 round eye 230 (6mm) loop size 1.6 mm bore
Stripping guide is a Mayfly agate frame guide made by a French artist, Brice Fabre

Hmmm....Going to find some other program to upload photo's. Photobucket isn't what it used to be...

Hello Michael,

I have used the rod last summer a lot on small trout rivers in Germany and also on some local waters here for roach and perch.
It has a medium/fast action and a lot of backbone in it. Will probably use it also this winter for winter roach in local harbours which can grow upto 45cm and 2/3 pound.

Used to fish with a CTS MX 8'#0 however this rod replaced it as a new favorit.

That's nice and I love the Agate stripping guide . I'm building a 1wt now and thinking hard of an Agate .
