I was going to use the single foot guides that came with the kit but quickly found out that my talent is lacking . I decided to go with double foot or snake guides again but don't know what size or how many . Any help is deeply appreciated . As always TIA .

On a 0 weight I'd test cast with probably an 8 stripper, then go with two 1's, two 1/0's and the rest 2/0's. That's just me though, to each his own. I'd bet you'd find the smaller guides work as well if not better.

I haven't fished her yet but I'm really looking forward to trying her out. That was the last graphite rod I put together; lately I've been having a love affair with fiberglass blanks. I really like the slower actions available in the glass blanks. They should protect the tippet well just like the light graphite blanks do. Gene

Sorry , got in front of myself . She turned out pretty good for an old retired boilermaker doing the work . Eyes, ears, hips, legs , back , neck , knees and heart are all bad but other than that I'm in pretty good shape . I haven't had a chance to fish it yet . I'm going somewhere next week but don't know where exactly, will try her out then .
