I've built a couple rods, but they weren't ultralights. The last was a 10' 5 wt. Sage ONE. I have two ultralight blanks waiting my attention - both TXL-Fs, a 0 wt. and a 000 wt. Winter projects likely.

I have a 0 weight, 2weight and a 6-10 5 weight that Mark built me.....super sweeeeet rods. I sure have enjoyed them. Landed some huge bass with these rods....and a few rainbows.

I have two 1wts and one owt that I built from his blanks . Great rods . I would get a 6wt blank but I'm a little bored with the color .
I just got though building a matt black 9' 2wt and an olive green fiberglass 2/3wt that I got off ebay . I'm also building a telescoping 7' who knows what weight it is , just trying something different .

Just finished a Batson Revelation 2wt. It's not much to look at. Just some blue wraps with no cp. Have an Epic 686 Fastglass in the works, but, that's taboo! Took some quick shots. Reel seat was a lot bigger than expected.

One is the SWAG (Scientific Wild-Asked Guess) method, and the other is the Common Cents System. Having tried both, I certainly prefer the latter.

strummer , nice build from what I can see .
Pete, I just went out and started casting it with different lines . So far it like a 3 the best . I need to actually put a reel seat and handle on it as it feels weird taping the reel on !
