Howdy! My name is Aubrey. I live in Flint in east Texas. I live about 5 miles from Lake Palestine. I have fly fished off and on for 53 years and chased bass for the same number. I used conventional casting for the 53 years. My big bass was a 11/3 lbs. I am 76 and mMake little fish feel bigy body is getting tired. I need to use UL tackle which is easier on my body.

Hello Aubrey, welcome to the forum! Lots of people here in Texas, so you should feel at home. I'm not in Texas, and yet I feel at home.

Hi Aubrey, Jim here from Coppell TX. Welcome to the forum. We've been fishing for about the same number of years; your largest bass has mine by 3-4 pounds. Ultra light does ease the pain (and makes catching a better experience for me).
