Just getting into ultralight fly fishing an started building a 3 wt 5ft2in pole from an old pole I had lying around.

Welcome aboard ScowMan from an old jarhead nam boots on the ground vet. Only been flyfishing since about 1988, but have been fishing 3 weights and lighter off and on since the mid-90's, and almost exclusively over the past 7-8 years. You can find a lot of information here about ultralight fishing.

Welcome to the forum Scowman, and thank you for your service.

Hope you get your shop finished soon, and get to that 10' one.

Hi ScowMan. I haven't been on this board much in quite awhile. I retired last year and live a little ways up north. I often frequent some nice year-round fresh and saltwater fisheries down your way. Welcome!
