Are there any settings in this forum app so when I open a thread will take me to the last post I've read and return me to the end of the topic I just posted in? Tapatalk on my phone does both of those.

There are no settings but there is a small icon with an arrow pointing to it that is beside the title of the thread that appears when you have any unread threads. That icon takes you to the newest post in the thread.

I'm having an issue where PM's do not show up for me on the forum site. I get the email alert on my iPhone and email but when I go to the website there are no new messages. I've missed three from Paul and we thought it might be his iPad but I just got an alert for a PM from Dan in Montreal and again no new message is showing up. Help?

That will happen if you have not cleaned out your inbox. Chances are you have 100 PMs in there and the overflow is queued for you.

I have a bunch of PM's in my out box that will not go? Can you look into it please and see if I did something wrong?
Sent you a PM.

Joe, you know they stay in the outbox until the recipient opens it...right?

Forum is crazy slow last couple hours, is there something going on with the server? Had to hit "refresh" three times just to get the main page to fully load.

Yeah, still slow on this side of the pond. It loads, just feels like dial up.

I have no issues either, but I'll dump the cache. If it is the server then it's Dreamhost's issue, something I have no control over. You might try dumping the cookies in your browser too.

willie bobwilliebobIn relation to slowness, I cannot say because I have no access to server logs. One thought did occur to me though and that is that this board may have been scraped for email addresses as I see some of you are naive enough to publicly post them. There is a secure email button provided for this that prevents your email addresses being harvested (for the purposes of sending spam or attempted hacking). If you know you do this, you would be well advised to edit your posts and remove your email address. For me to do this is the best part of half a day's work. To explain, a crawler or scraper can request pages at a heck of a rate (far faster than 100 of us could at the same time) and slow things down for everyone. Moral of the story: do not give them any food (reason to) and they will leave you alone (hopefully).
