Took a trip to my favorite little lake( introduced to me by Cliff no less) and nailed my personal best on the TFO 2 weight 8' Professional, nice fight that at one stage thought I would lose when he headed for the reeds. The first one is for this years competition. No one could beat Cliff last year.

Thanks for both of your replies, Cliff I got one Blue Gill and a few Sunnies, Rockthief it was caught on a fly tied the same as a clouser but using Olive Marabou instead. The bass I caught last week was on the same fly tied on a #8 long shank.

I would like to say it weighed #10, but around #5 would be more accurate, I do not have a scale or tape I guess I should carry both.

Here is the video, sorry no sound per se, I thought I could edit on you tube and put sound in but there was no edit opportunity given.
Cliff on the TF Forum the one of three kayakers on the lake with me caught 11 bass fishing conventional, I was targeting "bream" guess I should have switched to bass mode.

I never go less than 7-8 lb tippet simply because Mr Bass could show up.
Thanks on the video comment, I am trying to get better at editing and more creative with the whole thing.
Johnny thanks, yes the fight was the best yet by a bass for me, nice and chunky too.

Les- It is a Perception Pesador 12. I have one just like it. The kayak is the same mold as the pre 2009 Wilderness Systems Tarpon. Academy sells them for $500. It is a great all-rounder. I use mine mostly for a couple trips to the coast each year.

As Padre said it is a Pescador. I still have my inflatable but missed my first Pescador too much and then purchased this from Acadamy for 320 dollars on clearance, could not pass it up

I wondered about that I have the old tarpon 120 and I've been telling people that the mold is still being used - yet i didnt know the name the pescador.
It's a beyond the breakers boat - that is it can by design go safely offshore.

They are made by Perception and I think the 10 and 13 foot kayaks are also Wilderness Tarpon hulls, I stand to be corrected.

Great video. I've been considering getting a kayak to fish from but I haven't had a lot of free time to fish lately. That kayak is on sale at academy for $399 I think. I was looking at them the other day.

Those boats were once $900 tarpon 120 when I got mine on sale for $700.
