I am looking to purchase a Sage LL 469 graphite III in particular. I know this rod is a little out of the scope of the rods featured on this forum, but I also know that many of you also own rods heavier than 3 weights. (There was even just such a rod offered for trade several years ago on this forum) Why would I want such a rod? Well let me tell you..... I need a short rod to fish several Cutthroat creeks I fish in the Rockies. These tight little creeks are willow bound and fairly narrow. They also can hold Cutthroats over 20". I will be throwing large attractors to these fish and need something that will easily handle larger flys I like to use. I also like graphite rods for the actions, quickness, recovery, and ruggedness. If anyone has such a rod or knows someone who would part with their's I would appreciate the lead. You'll be helping out a fellow Trout enthusiast pursue his dreams.

A friend of mine has one. It is in original tube and sock and is mint. How much are you willing to pay? I'll let him know.

Well I want to pay as little as possible of course. Make me an offer. I'd like to keep it under $350. This is a super specialty rod for me. There are only 2 creeks in Wyoming that really call for something shorter than 7'. I would like to explore them further with this short rod. If that's not enough give me a call, 210-415-6822, I'll see if we can work something out.

Well he decided that he wants to keep it. Between rods, reels, and shotguns he could open a shop.

Are sure there's no price he would sell it? Have him call me.

How about send me his number? I'll call him and the worse that can happen is he'll say no.
