If every rod in your possession disappeared but one, which would you cling to and why?
I'll save mine for last.

I will take my Cabela's LST 7'6" 2wt with my Lamson Velocity Hard Alox 1, and be happy forever!

If I had to do with just one.It would be my St Croix Avid a 7ft 3wt. That would handle all but the big bass, carp, & now & then catfish. I would like to have my 5wt also. But I would be happy with my 3wt Dennis

I would keep my Albright 7'6" 3wt. Lately, that has been my rod of choice.

It's a no brainer for me. My 8' 2pc 3wt St Croix Legend Ultra (pre IPC) teamed with my English made Orvis Battenkill LA. It is a wonderful "wind" rod, yet very sensitive & the one I fish probably 80-90% of the time. I always worry about something happening to it as it's not made anymore. If it were, I would probably own 2 of them. Mikey

Honestly it would be a toss up between my Echo 7'6 3wt and the Lamiglass 7'6 4wt I built this year. I like them both and would hate to part with either.

I'd keep the Sage 893 3wt. Too practical of a rod to leave home without it.

I'd go with my Powell 8'9", 3wt. Also a very "practical" rod in that it'll handle a 4.

Geesh! I have it down to 2... my Orvis Superfine 3 wt. and a Lamson Radius 1.5 reel or my Superfine 1 wt. and Orvis BBS I reel. I guess I would lean more to the 3 wt.

Winston WT 7' 3wt with Ross Evolution. Sage 8'6" ZXL 3wt is starting to edge it out though.

older cabelas three forks 7'6" 3wt. Very nice rod that never "gets in the way". Not sure about the new versions they put out this year.

Janus, the new ones are a bit faster than the older ones regardless of what the catalog says. I had one of the old ones, and one of the new ones, and let me tell you, the old ones are MUCH better casting.

I haven't been doing this as long as many of you, but one of my fondest purchases has been my TFO Finese 2#. Every time I have a 10 inch sunny on the other end and the rod and it's doubled over, I smile and think how great this is!! Jack

Sunfisher, that rod is my next purchase. Unless I decide to drop down to the 1wt. Will have to cast them both.
