This is a very simple and very effective panfish fly. Works great with UL fly rods. Use beads, lead wire or no weight depending on desired sink-rate. Tied on a size 12 2X hook.........The pearl chenille (size small) makes wonderful fly bodies and is a lot more durable than peacock also has a lot of flash...............Don in SC
