A few months ago, I did my first step by step for what is my now go-to bluegill fly. Simple to tie, easy to fish, and very productive. I've caught bass, crappie, hooked and broke off a nice carp, and countless bluegill on this fly since I whipped it up in my first experiments with dubbing. Its not an original idea by any means. I tied it off of memory of a bream killer from breambugs.com. Thought this forum could use a little chatter. Anyone else whipping anything up? http://ross91690.blogspot.com/2014/07/s ... nymph.html

when you photograph the fly, a light background would help the viewer see the fly better; the "noise" in the background is the same color as the fly, thus making it difficult to see-p-

Thanks, everyone. As I tie more (and a few picture-worthy) flies, I know I need to work on how I take pictures of them. I mostly whip them up and then snap a quick pic with my phone .

Nice Fly, I agree with Pearow and Cliff my eyes are getting difficult to manage, a lighter background would be better, one color as opposed to your set up.
