After reading the question on here regarding dropper knots and spying the above book on my bookshelf today I thought a mention on here was in order..

The Author is Roger Fogg and I consider the book is not that well known it is a bit of a bible on wet fly fishing with spiders or soft hackles. Its Chapters cover history and modern day techniques , tackle and fly tying. It is a book that is found on the shelves of anglers who take their North country spider fishing seriously . If you can source one in the USA its one that is in my opinion worth buying.

Fogg's book is pretty good. It has some very useful patterns as well as information. Just wish I could afford his other books. They seem to sky-rocket in price.
