I really enjoyed this book. As both a fly fisherman and a tenkara user this book combines both. It contains Yvon's thoughts on simplicity in fishing. Does away with the Tenkara "mystic" craze and put fishing in simple American terms. Has awesome pics. A good read.

I might get this book because of my admiration for Yvon Chounaird. He has lead a pretty amazing life from forging carabiners in his garage, as a teen-ager and becoming one of the world's great rock climbers, starting Patagonia and his dedication to finding new fabrics and methods of construction to build the world's finest outdoor clothing, to his interest in fly fishing as he aged, to his current fascination with Tenkara. I really think he is a remarkable person.

You know, I just bought this book and have been savoring every page. If you read it, not as a
tenkara book, but as a great fly fishing and trout read it has soulful and magical words by some of the truly great fishermen and individuals of our times. We need more books done in this beautiful manner. Just my 2 cents worth from the ramblings of an old guy. Read it!
