J and I have been having a background discussion about holsters the last few days and it piqued my curiosity.  So, show us your favorite holster or holsters, and why you like them.

I'll start with a D.M. Bullard Bandit--a very nicely crafted pancake style holster that rides high and pulls the gun in tight.  Mr Bullard lives just west of Fort Worth so he's close enough that I can drive over when I order my next one.

I'm gonna have to get the camera out in the next couple of days to do a photo session.

I have this love-hate thing with holsters. The Walter Mitty in me wants to think I could carry a gun concealed inside my waistband, but the reality is that a .25 in a pocket holster is a good as it would ever get. If I lived 150 years ago I would definitely use a cross draw. It is not so much that I can draw the gun any faster, but the position of the holster allows for an easier thumb **** and target acquisition. Also easier to draw when seated. I even have a favorite, a 1871-2 open top conversion. Don
